Laura Lang visited Somerset Clubhouse last night to give some helpful tips on how to avoid scams and/or becoming a victim to crimes at your home or places of business. This was part of an ongoing effort of our Neighborhood Watch program to keep everyone aware, not just seniors but all young or old. Laura gave gifts to everyone and also shared some surprising scams, and ways to avoid them. Refreshments, sweets and hot cocoa were served. Thanks to all who volunteered to make this possible, especially Elaine Greene who spearheaded this and provided all the goodies!

If you missed our annual Neighborhood Watch meeting please join me in giving thanks to Elaine Greene and her selfless efforts for supporting and spearheading the continuing involvement of our Somerset neighbors to keep our Neighborhood Watch ALIVE ! As you can see from the pictures we had a great Police presence at the meeting letting us know they care! Elaine has donated her own time and dollars to thank the Police and neighbors who participate in keeping us safe. Please keep watch for another update meeting in December with Laura Lang from the Orlando Police Department. **PS Thanks to all the neighbors who brought goodies to share. And Support our local Dunkin Donuts and their manager Steve who donated fresh coffee.
