My name is Alexander Chiaro. I am the President of Somerset Village Homeowners Association and the residents here are as upset as I am about south Orangewood Blvd being converted to 2 lanes only , flashing speed signs, traffic circles at Stamfield Dr. and Silent Brook Dr. as well as “speed cushions” being installed.
South Orangewood Blvd is a dead end with a finite number of homes with no chance of future development. This area is quiet and beautiful with no traffic problems.
It’s also very attuned to nature. This is one of the many reasons I supported you because you have taken nature and lifestyle into consideration.
In my opinion, as well as many of our residents here in Somerset Village, would like the proposed changes to not include South Orangewood Blvd.
If you drive to our beautiful Somerset Village, you will see how idyllic it is as you drive South Orangewood Blvd.
Somerset Village, Parkview Point as well as Deer Creek Village are special and deserve special consideration. You will see that there is little to no need for what you are proposing for South Orangewood Blvd, and it would actually detract from our lifestyle and beauty of our immediate area.
