That’s right we volunteer our time, expertise and energy. We use our life experiences to serve our village because we believe in community involvement. There are tons of decision to be made, disputes to settle, finances to keep track of and a chance of being sued for a slip-up. So why do we serve?
As homeowners, we have a big investment and serving on the board, we protect the value of all of our homes. We ensure the village looks sharp by enforcing our by-laws or governing documents. We manage the common areas, such as the berm surrounding the village, clubhouse, main meeting room, fitness center, library, pool, spa, tennis courts, and bocce and shuffleboard areas. You can utilize and enjoy these spaces and not worry about the upkeep.
So why not get involved by joining a committee. Attending monthly board meetings will give you the chance to meet your neighbors and board members in a business casual environment to share your opinion and ideas, and get involved with your association.
