A Color Selection book containing all approved colors for house paint, driveway stains, and roof shingles is available for sign-out from the clubhouse.

House Paint

Choose both the body and trim colors from one approved color card. The only exception is Card 6, which can be used for either the body or trim. The approved colors for Somerset Village can be found at the Sherwin Williams website link found here or by viewing the Color Selection book.

Driveway Stain
Approved Sherwin Williams HC Concrete Stain and Sealer colors are:

  • Sandstone – HC 157
  • Hint of Gray –  HC 156
  • Bombay – HC 133
  • Gray Horizons – HC 140 
  • Neutral Balance Tan – HC 125

Roof Shingles

All new roofs require ARC approval before installation.

  • Materials: Only classic or architectural style shingles made of fiberglass/asphalt are permitted.
  • Repairs: Missing or damaged shingles must be replaced with the exact same color.
  • Maintenance: All roofs must be kept clean and free of stains, fungus, algae, mold, and mildew.
  • Colors:
    • Homes with green or yellow tones: Must use beige or gray shingles.
    • Homes with brown/beige tones: Must use brown/beige shingles.
    • Homes with gray tones: Must use gray shingles.
